Save The Ocean Once Cup at A Time

PROJECT 1:
Save The Ocean One Cup At A Time
The Project Brief was to create and Design a Pop Up Store Exhibit for an Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of your choice. I chose to use SDG14 which is 'Life Below Water', which talks about ocean conservation, threats of certain ways of living and how it will harm the oceans. The Background for the Project was based on SDG 14, and Starbucks, since everyone loves starbucks especially young teens and millenials. I decided to incorporate Starbucks and use them as a partnership base. And to use Competition and Incentives to entice them to apply SDG 14 when buying starbucks

Project Approach
The Approach to the project was to play on Starbucks quote "One Person, One Cup, and one neighbourhood at a time." Playing on that I came up with the Single Message Proposition "Save the Ocean, One Cup At a Time."

Another Approach to the Project was to design and texture the pop-up store in a way that would help to showcase the store's connection the ocean, so I decided to use ecofriendly materials, maybe using Seaglass, and the Seaglass having textures of the sea. And instead of using actual wood, It's mainly glass and glass that's painted to look like wood, and some of the surfaces would be painted to look like the ocean.
Insights
The insights that I thought about other than using the materials that were stated, was I decided to make it such that, you have to go to the Stabucks pop up store, and by enticing some form of competition.
Plan
The plan was to have people enter on both sides, and buy their Starbucks cups.
Materiality
Wood, oriubnted to simulate wood, glass was segalss, floor was meant rupples in the sea with high reklfective glass.
Process
The Process of creating this was all about how to fit it in, but yet make sure the design of the store can fit insight the area, the space is quite small but is yet quite useful.
